Well Summer has been growing so fast – we took her to get some photos at 3 1/2 months! I have included some of our favorites below. Summer is becoming much more active and acting like she wants to start talking with her little noises. We are enjoying watching her change daily and just can’t believe how fast she has been growing!
Well it is hard to believe but Summer is already almost two months old. She will be turning two months old on her Grammy’s birthday, December 29th. Summer has been experiencing a lot of new things and continues to grow and grow. She has been enjoying her time home with mommy; she has been working on her tummy time, going for walks and working on sitting up in her bumbo chair. Summer is looking forward to Christmas, Lala bought her a nice Christmas dress. We will be going to Augusta, GA for Christmas so Summer can spend time with Papa, Grammy, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Todd and Cousin Matthew – hopefully she will get to meet some of her second cousins too. Well this past Thursday Summer was three weeks old, wow time flies…I can’t believe she is already almost one month old! Summer has been doing a lot in the past three weeks and has been growing fast. She has had her first visit to the pediatrician, has gone out in the real world a couple of times, experienced bath time and tummy time. She also met her new friend Jocelyn (1 week old) the other night. This weekend we went to visit Peepop’s and Lala’s (Jenny’s parent’s) house for an early Thanksgiving since they will be going to Los Angeles. I have included some of the pics below.
Well today is Summer’s one week birthday. Mom and Summer are doing well, both are trying to get adjusted to the new routines. Summer has been enjoying her time at home with us. Darla and Summer have been getting along really well too; Darla is quite curious of who she is but is becoming very protective of her already. Below is a video I shot of Summer’s first ride in her swing.
I also have attached a few photos of her beside me while doing some work in the office, she really enjoys her bouncer. You can see a before and after, she was having a lot of fun at first then I guess we were working too hard and she was out like a light!
Summer Kate Leclair was born October 29, 2009 at 11:31am. She was 7lbs 1 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Both Mom and Summer did very well through the surgery. We are expected to go home November 1, 2009 when they discharge Jenny from the hospital if her recovery is going well. We are all looking forward to going home and spending time with Summer! I have attached a few photos from our stay at Northside Hospital.
Well we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Summer Kate Leclair. We are scheduled for a C-Section on October 29th, why a C-Section you ask? Little Summer is pretty comfortable in there and just doesn’t want to turn around so the doctors say this is what is best for her and Mom.

Well Jenny surprised me and picked up a travel system today, I am happy it is not pink!
Well we did some work on the nursery this 4th of July weekend. My parents (Leclair’s) came up and we painted the nursery pink to match the crib bedding. Here are some of the latest pictures.
We visited the doctor yesterday, and we found out we are having a girl!!! : ) : ) She is 20 weeks in these pictures which show her limbs, face, and girl parts. It is a little hard to see, so look closely. She is developing normally and weighs 14 oz and we are so excited to meet her!
